Meet Our Captains
Captain Rob
Captain Rob Alexander specializes in shallow water flats fishing. He is a patient and dedicated professional who enjoys guiding all levels of experience. His passion for fishing and adventure has led him around the world to many unique places, but the expansive marshes and charm of the Low Country are where he loves being the most. Bringing a variety of experiences and education to his career, Rob is a lifelong angler, avid outdoorsman, Marine Corps veteran, alumni of Bob Jones University and NOLS Wilderness Guide School as well as a Coast Guard licensed and insured master captain.
The Boat: Capt. Rob operates a Beryllium 19 flats skiff that is designed to comfortably handle everything from open bays to stalking fish in less than seven inches of water. The skiff has comfortable seating, dry storage, and ample space for a captain and crew. The Beryllium 19 is a one-of-a-kind flats skiff designed and hand-built by Chris Morejohn in 2020. Chris’s colorful 50 plus year career as a boat designer and builder holds many distinctions to include credit as the father of the modern flats skiff, cofounder of Hell’s Bay Boat Works, and designer of their most iconic skiffs including the Whip Ray, Waterman, Professional, Guide, and Marquesa. Captain John
Captain John Martin has been captaining boats for 15 years and has captained everything from tug boats, to sport fishing boats, and bay boats. He is a Beaufort, SC native who loves showing off everything from our back waters and to our bays. His passion for fishing and being on the water is infectious and you’re guarantied to learn something new every time you fish with him.

Captain Jake
Captain Jake Myer is likely to be one of the most fun captains you’ll ever fish with! Captain Jake grew up in-shore fishing on Florida’s Gulf Coast. He is well travelled and enjoys the thrill of catching bass to sharks and everything in between. Capt. Jake spent six years in the Army as a Ranger with at 1st Ranger Batallion in Savannah, GA. His dream is to share an experience on the water with others has become a reality and he looks forward to sharing it with you.
The Boat: Capt. Jake operates a 24ft Lake & Bay Back Country Tower Boat that is perfect for targeting our large fish species!
