Green Heron Adventures offers technical shallow water flats fishing, and traditional inshore fishing. Our primary target species year around is red fish (red drum). Seasonally, we also target sea trout, flounder, tripletail, jack crevalle, cobia, and tarpon.

The expansive and beautiful marshes and waterways surrounding Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort, SC are an ideal environment to pursue our fishing passion.

Flats Fishing (1-2 Anglers)

Fly and Light Tackle Fishing | Starting at $500

Join Capt. Rob to hunt for red fish with fly rods and/or light tackle on our shallow flats year round. Seasonally, these trips can also include “flood tide fishing” for tailing red fish and sight fishing for cobia, jack crevalle, and tripletail. Flats/sight fishing is a technical style of fishing where the goal is to visually spot and cast to fish.

Bay Boat Fishing (1-4 Anglers)

Light and Heavy Tackle Fishing | Starting at $600

Beginner to advanced anglers alike are going to love fishing with Capt. John. While our flats fishing trips are “technical,” the goal of our bay boat trips is to get on the best bite of the day using bait and/or artificial lures. Target species change seasonally and could include red fish, sea trout, flounder, cobia, tripletail, jack crevalle, tarpon, and sharks.
